As per informed by DC staff, that our VM server is boot into “illegal opcode” and advised us to reinstall the server OS. In view of the situation, we will boot into rescue mode for further investigation and find out the possible resolution.

The server is now powered up. However, we’re being informed that the server is boot into bios error. This issue is currently handle by DC staff and we are waiting for next update.

Racking & cabling is in progress, the server will be powering up once the activity is complete.

Unloading in progress at new DC. Equipmets will transfer to respective building floor.

DC staff will begin the migration activities by unrack our network switch and physical servers.

We again received reschedule information from our vendor regarding the migration activities to move our servers from current DC (Telstra) to a new DC (Iron Mountain). The new migration date & time is as per following new schedule:

Maintenance Window: 14:30 – 22:30 (GMT+8)
Expected Downtime: 8 hours
Impact: All dedicated servers, virtual machines and websites hosted with us are not accessible during the migration exercise

We will power down all servers 15 minutes before maintenance window. All services will resume once the migration complete and no changes required at your end. You may savely ignore this notice if your services are not hosted at this location.

 

[Rescheduled – 06-02-2021]

As you may recall that towards the end of 2020, we received information from vendor and  announced a scheduled migration activities to move our servers from current DC (Telstra) to a new DC (Iron Mountain). Your VPS or hosting account were initially planned to be migrated by the end of 2020 but eventually postponed by our vendor.

Our service provider are now scheduling again the migration of our servers as per following schedule:

Maintenance Window: 14:30 – 22:30 (GMT+8)
